some particles doesn't respond to ctrl point 1 and 2 you have to go to particle editor to change the direction

So, simply the default settings sucks
You have to select Mp4 or MOV format H.264 compression, and No Gamma adjust
But the best quality is AVI.
Then you'll have to render every parts in a real editing software, because if you want to make a video of one minute or more you'll have to split your video.
