Here you'll find some snow particles u might need for ur upcoming Christmas video!
Extract the zip and put the files wherever u like (the best place is in "usermod/particles")
There are 3 files in this zip:
snowdot.pcf
snowflake.pcf
snow storm.pcf

Before we look into what the files actually contains i shall explain how to use them...
Ok... let's start explaining this crap...
The particles spawn in a quite big "rectangle" (800x800) at an height of 350... so that will probably be large enough for covering all ur scene... just put the control point on the middle of ur scene...
some of these particles reach the 5000 max particles cap (is there any way to increase that?) so it could be laggy...
they have an average lifetime of 15 sec so if u need the snow to come from higher u can just raise the control point...
it continues underground for like 400 unit or so...
in the file u'll have like "Snowflake_fast_alot" that means the speed is fast and the quantity is "a lot"...

now looking closely at the files:
"snowdot.pcf" contain "dot" snow... just little circles..
"snowflake.pcf" contain actual "snow flakes", they are bigger than the dots so u could actually see them dropping...
"snow storm.pcf" contains the particles that simulate a snow storm... they spawn form a side (idk if u can rotate [see BUGS] the particles i haven't tested this yet) and they barely drop down... the "dot" snow has a trail the "flake" one doesn't (it wont work) but motion blur might fix it (need to test). they come pretty fast and vary in number (from particle to particle).
the "toomuch" particles have a shorter lifetime (still due to the 5000 max particles cap)...


planning to do some "pyrovision" snow...
what ya guys think?

BUGS:
They dont rotate.. which make the storms pretty useless... :/ gotta make that "lock rotation" working!
