The idea for this challenge is to do the following:
I'd like to see maps with two different funnels (blue and orange) in different rooms. Each funnel must be brought to the other room at least once to accomplish some task. Rooms must be separated in some way, at least with fizzler, so that player can't walk from one to another without any action done. Any other elements are allowed.

The idea for this challenge is to do the following:
Create a map with 3 or more rooms. Each room has a puzzle-element in it. This element interacts with one of the other rooms meaning that all rooms interact with eachother.

The entire interaction is the puzzle to solve this map.

On top of that, each room is not directly accessible (walk into it) but something has to be done in order to enter the room which is not just going through a portal. (open a door, use a funnel, that sort of thing) The rooms do not have to be sealed with walls. Goo is acceptable too.

ok, so basically: you cannot just walk into the room, anything else goes?

Just to see if I understand the suggestion: Create a map with 3 rooms or more, have a puzzle that requires actions in each room and make sure they interact with each other. All rooms must be closed off and the parts that make the room accessible must have a mechanic in place that you have to interact with in order to gain access to that room. In addition each room must have at least a testing element and something that activates something else.

Correct? Also, is glass allowed as part of the walls? and separating the rooms with goo is not?

I had a chat with Stagger Lee, and we both feel the same about this camerson1313. We're very affraid this will fail in one way or another, and for that reason I'd like you to ask to make a new suggestion. It can be something like this theme, but you should try to make it fit in 4 to 5 sentences tops to give an idea on how much text should be required.

Also, only use the stock PeTI items for your examples. I'll leave it up to you if you decide to reword the toggle idea or go for something completely different.

Just for your information, we're affraid that either people think its too complex and won't bother, or they break the rules.

Beemod has a toggle pedastal button, so no need to even create a contraption. But someone who does not know what BEE Mod is, will not know what a fluxfield is, and these competitions are stock PeTI oriented, but anyone who has BEE Mod can use it as long as it works on a stock Portal 2. The problem I haave is that the competition is very complex in nature by itself.

Hmm... I'll have to consult with Stagger Lee about this one. It is very complex and the part about flux fields etc is breaking the competition rule: everything should be possible to make with stock PeTI.
