To Jozepezdj for Fourth Symmetry: Does this count? The only thing that it doesn't technically do is have the rooms in the corners, but its still as symmetrical so I think this would still be okay, right?

Nah, its a fair question. I personally couldn't think of a fun puzzle with this mechanic. It felt quite restrictive and at the same time quite big. With little inspiration for puzzles I decided not to make a map for this competition.

The idea for this challenge is to do the following:
- Make your chamber so it's more or less square shaped and it has 4 rooms or areas, one at each of the chamber's corners.
- Separate them physically by goo, drawing a cross shaped pool.
- But not just that, use whatever other 'separating element' like fizzlers, glass, grates, etc to separate the 4 areas a bit more (note that it's not mandatory that all of the areas contain the fizzlers, or other separators, that will be up to the puzzlemaker).
- All areas must be involved in the puzzle though so there must be any mechanic that makes possible to go from one to other, but 'the how' will be up to you.
- Use whatever puzzle element and in whatever amount.
- The player can start from whatever area and the exit door can be in whatever area.

The idea for this challenge is to do the following:
This is a test of threes. You must use three unique items together to accomplish a minimum of three tasks. For example: you place a reflector cube on a light bridge to redirect a laser to a catcher. The cube, bridge, and laser are your three items working in concert. Unique means you cannot use duplicate items; two reflector cubes cannot be part of the same task, although they may be part of the same map. Portals and buttons do not count as items.

Each task requires a different combination of items. Using the example above, you could re-use two of those items (cube and laser, probably), but not all three.

You may NOT use a particular item in all three tasks.

Items You May Combine

• Cubes -- all types are acceptable, but no duplicates within a single task
  
• Gels -- all types are acceptable; speed and bounce may be used in tandem, but will count as two items
  
• Excursion Funnel/Tractor Beam -- may be reversible, but cannot use two funnels simultaneously
  
• Light Bridge
  
• Laser
  
• Aerial Faith Plate
  
• Piston
  
• Rail
  
• Angled Panel
  
• Flip Panel
  
• Glass Panel
  
• Stairs

All items not mentioned in the above list do not count in the combination.

You may design your map however you see fit (PTI, BEEMOD, or Hammer), but exotic elements will not count as part of your combination.
