I'm sorry Josepezdj, but I indeed do have to disqualify your entry. Once the competition goes into voting stage, you are not allowed to edit your puzzle, even if you are fixing a critical issue. You have a month time to make your entry and test it to fix all issues. Others don't get this chance so it would be unfair for you to have it.

The reason to stop is not because of how easy/hard it is ot manage the competitions, but because it is morally a bad thing to run a competition if too few people are interested. From experience I know that if you have an activity where only 5% of the people who normally would be active are active, the fun is out rather quickly. If I would run another hammer competition, and again we have one or two entries by the same people, and again, then at some point it just creates a meaningless situation that I want to prevent. I'd rather create a new competition when I know people are interested, because then I know it will be fun for everyone.

Don't get me wrong, I'm open to suggestions, but for the sake of this being a competition, there at least should be any competition. ;)

We've had 4 competitions. the first was too hard so no entries. The 2nd one had 3 entries, the 3rd one had no entries, and this 4th one was to see if there was still interest as people said it was the puzzle. 4th one got just one entry. So my understanding is that we have too few people who are into hammer active.

4 maps? really? I haven't heard of anyone but Innocentive to actually present a map. I so hope I'm wrong and get more than one entry.

The idea for this challenge is to do the following:
All of the following items in your puzzle need to be connected to at least 2 different items:
* cube / sphere buttons
* pedestal buttons
* laser relays
* laser receivers
* Any other "activators", like portal sensors, beemod triggers, etc etc.

Here is a screenshot of a chamber that follows the rules. The pedestal button is connected to both cube droppers, the floor button is connected to both the light bridge and the stairs, and the cube button is connected to the door, the other stairs, and the flip panel. That chamber isn't terribly interesting btw, before someone tries to solve it. It's possible but boring haha

(Of course, you don't have to use all of those above items, if you don't want to.)

When counting connections, multi-part elements count as just one - This button is "technically" connected to five different panels, however they all form one big panel, so this only counts as ONE connection. But, this button is connected to two different panels, so it's allowed.

One more thing - ...I know somebody's going to try this, so you're not allowed to "cheat" by connecting to "useless" items :P You still can, if you want to add "decoration", but they won't count towards the total of 2 items.

Ivo, mapping should be done because it is fun, not because you want to win. That way, you won't feel bad because we have many good mappers in this group. And if you do win, its an extra bonus.

You could also ask yourself, what can I do to improve myself so my maps become even better? :)
