After almost 11 years I have decided to stop posting in this group.

Why?
Mainly because over these 11 years I have seen a lack of care by Valve/Steam to maintain and add features to groups. The platform doesn't think groups are important anymore. Posts that I make sometimes don't publish right and don't get sent to peoples notification or activity feed. Other times steam makes a big issue out of external link to GOG or EGS.

Greatest thing to have happened?
I am very happy to have met many wonderful people, Many I still talk to on a regular basis! Originally I started tracking free games when I was still a broke student. the more people I was able to help the happier I am.

Worst thing?
People take out their frustration with platforms or developers out on me. Down voting or leaving negative comments under announcement. Remember: Don't shoot the messager guys!

What now?
I will no longer be monitoring this group. as always don't click links that go to domains you don't know. don't fall for phishing attempt by people who randomly add you and strike up a conversation.
