This topic has been pinned, so it's probably important
How to archive evidence.
The first thing shady and/or douchebag developers/publishers do when they know someone is onto their behavour is delete the evidence of it. So it's very important, expecially when reporting them to Valve, to have the evidence archived.

These are the sites I personally use because they're free and they do the job.
http://archive.is/ for full webpages (note that embeded videos won't play)
http://imgur.com/ for images and collections of images

What makes a good archive? Simple.
- Crop out ads and edit out your personal/log in information.
- Don't crop out other comments on the page, it's important to have context.
- Don't draw circles, arrows, etc on it with MS Paint.

And remember if you see something that needs to be shared, make a copy of it so everyone can see it, even if the original post has been taken down.

Another resource if you have Firefox is the Nimbus Screenshot add on. With it, you can capture a specific section of a web page, the visible area of a web page (the part that is showing on your browser window) or full web pages in .jpg or .png formats.

It is faster than archive.is or any other web page preservation sites because you don't need to "reload" (a process that is necessary when using any of those sites) a web page again to preserve them, and is handy if you have a developer that is known to be itchy on the delete button on any forum thread or the comments section.
plus use

https://steamrep.com/
-Find out dev/s Level.
-Shows VAC bans
-Good breakdown of friends list. (show how many have VAC ban.)

https://greenlightupdates.com/
-good for showing full game list from Dev. (Added games and Removed games and shows date)

I use a Windows software called Snipping Tool for screenies.

Yeah, but screenshots are incredibly inadmissable. The whole point of places like archive.is or the wayback machine is that a 3rd party can confirm the contents of the website at a specific point in time. It's way too easy to forge screenshots.

archive.is or it did not happen

True but the screen grabs are sometimes the only option, expecially for mobile users.

Youtube in MP4 was shut down recently, so I have removed it from the post.

Yeah it seems a few simular sites have met the same fate, something tells me Youtube's legal dept has been having a workout.
https://www.onlinevideoconverter.com/video-converter works but it's not very good and I highly recommend using an adblocker. There are some browser extensions that allow you to save from video sites, but I don't know of any good ones.

I think this is still good: http://en.savefrom.net/1-how-to-download-youtube-video/
Browser add-in and other methods.
