so it would seem that maybe Valve is giving "devs" a little too much freedom in how they manage their store pages.
https://steamhost.cn/app/714350/C2H6O/

besides being a low effort asset dump...clearly this "dev"/publisher is taking the piss out of Valve and their lack of quality control - the interesting part I want to point out here is the text accompanying the buy button "Buy Half-Live 3" :steamfacepalm: granted I doubt anyone would be fooled, but it seems odd that you basically can have two different titles listed for your game on your store page , the actual title and then the "title" at the buy button.

ontop of that there has been multiple examples of "devs" switching out games on their store pages...

seems like it would be in Valve's and their customers interest if some restrictions for what can change on a store page after a game is released were in place.

The reason for the name change is fair enough, if you wanted to put a Standard, Special and Soundtrack version of the game on Steam then you can, but this kind of thing needs to be moderated. Unfortunatly like anything when you let the general public in you get this kind of thing.

Valve could still require that the original title is present. but it's Valve:steamfacepalm:

Seems that Valve killed it.

I guess my report worked lol....what is this Valve is actually doing stuff in a somewhat effective manner...must have been a fluke.:2016whoadude:

I also have 3 or more games removed from my count just now. Seems like they killed a few more. Would be nice to know which ones got hit this time. Anyone knows something?
Shattered mind 12 Oct, 2017 @ 12:58pm
hmmm they might have removed ILLUMICORP all together or atleast that bundle this was part off...unfortunately I don't remember the names of the other titles included...but here's something weird if I search the steam store for "illumicorp" or "wolf head" the bundles shows up via autofill in the search and list those bundles as "in library" even though they're not and the link is dead....:goblin:

also that bundle structure might actually have been what got them removed since they were identical except for a single piece of dlc but one was released as Illumicorp bundle and the other as wolf head bundle at two different discount levels....so that might also have been an issue for valve(and the likelyhood of "wolf head" being puppet account)

affirmative. ILLUMICORP is dead. Another small step victory against spam. :steamhappy:

WTF!
They were completely removed! Completely! Including removal from game-count! They were gone, kicked, dead! And their games are spam-shit.
So they are back... now nothing will stop Zonitron from coming back again... good play Valve... fuck Valve, I'm off.

And now you see why I try to buy games on GOG or as DRM-free editions on Humble when they are available. They at least still try to ensure something of acceptable quality is sold on their stores. :hexhappy: (Well, for the most part in Humble's case.)

this makes me sad....Valve should adopt a "no mercy"-stance on bullshit developers, one strike and you're out.
