Grippen's Castle - Asset flipping 'developer' that censors criticism
So while I was looking for House Flipper's store page this appeared on the top result and it piqued my interest. https://steamhost.cn/app/1021110/Luxury_House_Renovation/

I took a cursory glance at the discussions (which is what I usually do to see how an upcoming game is doing) and it appears to be an asset flip of this. https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/3d/environments/urban/archvizpro-interior-vol-6-120489

Furthermore, it appears the developer has silenced the criticism that its detractors has leveled against the developer, whether it is just a simple inquiry of how this will be different to House Flipper or linking the flipped asset. I've archived some choice threads in case they do disappear.

Another thing of note is the slew of upcoming games this developer has prepared, which can be seen here:
https://steamhost.cn/search/?developer=Grippen%27s%20Castle&snr=1_5_9__400

There are four others that are upcoming and one is already being accused of being an asset flip, which is this one:
https://steamhost.cn/app/1031270/Farming_Life/

Which is a flip of: https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/3d/environments/industrial/farm-life-110144?aid=1101lHBV&utm_source=aff

Archived thread that points this out as an asset flip: http://web.archive.org/web/20190319175630/https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/app/1031270/discussions/0/1842441871279551573/

I'm not going to be surprised if the other 3 turn out to be flips as well, although I haven't found a thread that links to an asset yet, at least at the time of this writing.

Yeah sounds about right. Rampant asset flipping is pretty much the norm ever since Direct happened.

Speaking of which Grippen has added yet another 'game' into their upcoming list.

I'm pretty sure this is a flip. When you add another game into the store this quickly it will certainly raise several red flags.

Oh and may I remind you that all of their now half a dozen games aren't even released yet?

What's going on with this? Every day I notice a new "Blablabla simulator" By what I'm guessing is the same company claiming to be multiple different companies.... Is it like, one guy buying assets, and getting a shady 3rd party developer to make some very shotty simulator then for some reason hiring a different one for the same reason on a different "game"?

The company only has two games now, if you look into ship building simulators store page they link 4 other games made by 3 other developers with mostly unreleased games too now, have they just been moving projects out on to different accounts?

Oh that's weird, I just clicked them and they don't have any games on there anymore. If you hit the publishers or developers link, they're both empty.
