Been a while since I've made a thread but here we go again I guess.

Normally I'd ignore knock-off games on the store since they're a dime a dozen on the post-Greenlight era but every now and then there's games that really tries to inch as close to copyright infringement as possible without actually crossing it.

If you couldn't tell, this is a rip-off of Horizon Chase Turbo, and it copies it to a horrifying tee. From the general UI to the tracks themselves. This game just rips them off with absolutely no shame.

Of course, a screenshot is worth more than a thousand words so here's a collage I made comparing the screenshots of this copycat to HCT in the same track section side by side. I made it quickly but it should get the point across:

And since these guys are too lazy to remove the on-screen buttons (god forbid you make your mobile port somewhat competent!), a comparison between the mobile version of Horizon Chase:

The only thing this game doesn't copy from HCT is the fact that it only has 15 opponents instead of 19, having a subpar Burnout-esque takedown mechanic and a game mode complementing it, an elimination race mode and a police chase mode and that's about it. And yes, maybe this could be coincidental but when all of these are considered can that really be said with a straight face?
