I came across an old (?) curator review of Desolate ( https://steamhost.cn/app/671510/DESOLATE/ ) which still says that Desolate makes use of the "Red Shell" plugin (spyware). It would be nice to check the game again (I don't own it) and update the review. Devs claim, that they have long time ago removed the plugin ( https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/app/671510/discussions/1/1729827777333545946/#c1729827777336431736 ), so the review currently is either misleading or (if they did not remove it) should mention that their claim is false.

I believe, that this game deserves a negative recommendation, saying "The developer is abusing a loophole in SteamGifts rules to promote his game."

For the last 18 months this developer is repeatedly abusing the system. In this period he creates GAs only for DLCs to his own games, assigning to most of them (27 if I counted correctly) a very high number of keys, that even just based on his previous GAs of the same DLC he must be aware, will never be claimed, because only a handful of people are able to participate (own the game).

For *AnyWay! - Isabell!* DLC he has created 24 GA, each of over 300 copies, even though only the first of them has barely passed 100 participant mark, and the last 12 had at most 30 participants each. Taking into the account, that at SG "We feature up to two giveaways at once, and if more are available, then two will be displayed at random, with preference given to giveaways of higher copies", this obviously gives him an unwarranted high visibility on the webpage.

Now he has created a 10k copies GA for a different DLC for the same game... while all his GAs for the previous DLC (24 as I've said) had altogether less than 700 participants/winners**. How many of those GAs will SG users constantly see at the top of featured list for the next few months?

Exactly the same heavily criticized gamed removed from store and then republished under a slightly different name (Grind Zones/Grindzones) by the same dev and publisher. I think, the publisher deserves a closer look.

This game is so poorly designed, missing so many easy to implement opportunities (more in my review , that the pretty good quality of it's assets (especially the spinners) makes me really suspicious. I can't trace them myself, but it's not something, that I have any experience with.
