When starting a new thread, at the very least provide a bit more information and or
evidence that you might think is relevant to you and for us to look into a bit deeper.

Anyone can use whatever name or country they like on their profile.
The origin of names, or the sound of them being from whatever country you think they are
doesn't even qualify as a reason for me to look any further.


If you stumbled upon something, look deeper, archive your findings and post them
in a solid thread, readable for all, preferably with a short explanation.

As a Beta tester for Artifex Mundi i'm surprised this is even questioned, but i can understand
why this is brought up if you only "view" YT video's and see similar gameplay.
I can confirm these are two very different companies/entities.

and build games with that engine.

Buying an asset from a store, reskinning it, give it a new name, publish it under a different
name, abusing the back end of the steam store and repeat this 14 times is what contributed
to the demise of Zonigone.

About the visibility on the Store, might i suggest you install Enhanced Steam with Chrome,
you'll find it much easier to set your own parameters for searching the store.

No, it's not new at all, the difference is that more people are made aware of these actions
and have certain groups at their disposal where they can voice their findings and concerns.

However, (and this is my personal view), it's not only the people, but a mixture of actions
that makes it a problem, bad behaviour of developers AND customers, non-customers,
lack of any quality control on Valve's part (wich is supposedly to change soon).

The info we gather from our members or else, is double checked if not more, because half
of the time there's nothing to complain about, or it's just a personal fight.

In most cases, the developers don't resort to banning or removing posts, instead they do what
most people do, respond in a civil manner and try to resolve the problems raised.

The shitposting that follows in certain cases, doesn't help either, not for the developer
nor the (potential) customer, and this has me worried sometimes.
I don't mind exposing certain stuff, but if you do, show evidence and links so other people
can determine if it's a valid problem or not.

All we do is shine a light on a problem that is being raised by people with general concerns.
Amplifying the problem, but in no way do we endorse mobbing, shitposting, threatening.
