The "devs" that do the 1:1 asset flip usually end up getting caught doing something that does get them removed because ultimately they have little interest in making games, which is kind of the whole point of distributing on Steam.

I couldn't agree more. Seems like Valve lets these sort of things fly under the radar as long as they remain profitable. I guess enough people still buy these things without refunding or complaining.

Money laundering comes up sometimes, but I'm pretty sure none of these are ever money laundering. That would be difficult to manage on Steam, which limits each user to owning 1 copy of a product.
I think what they're doing in this case is inflating the prices of each individual game and then bundling them at over 95% off so it looks like a great deal. Realistically, each game then sells between $3-$4 and they can sell a bunch of games at once to unsuspecting players of low quality, asset flips.

So it looks like Epic has opened up to "all developers and publishers". https://store.epicgames.com/en-US/distribution. They charge the same low $100 fee per game that Steam does. With fewer community tools to warn players they will probably become overrun with shovelware fairly quickly. Funny how history seems to be repeating itself all over again with Zonitron being one of the first.

Apparently the game is getting updated and "fraudulent keys were being sold to this day" so that is why the dev decided to revoke all keys. Makes no sense that used keys would be revoked. If you happen to still have proof of purchase a request can be sent to the email address provided to get a new key.
Oh, and replies are restricted to only those who own a copy of game just to rub it in.
