It's not a game, it's just a virtual "art" gallery. All you do is look at pictures suspended in various environments.

Here's the fun part... the pictures are NFTs and the "developer" expects you to buy them with ETH cryptocurrency. Yet more NFT scamware on Steam.

But I can tell from that Western scene it's an asset flip, I've seen those western town assets in a bunch of other asset flips.

I really don't understand why curators have a 2000 game limit, Steam has 120,000+ games now. If you are an avid aficionado of RPG Maker construction kit games, for example, the curation system simply won't work for you.

I might make a note of that next time I review a Playway game. I think gamers should want to know if they're buying from someone ethical when they spend their money on a game.

Ah, but you can still review a game if the steam page is up but the item is removed from sale. The only time you can't review a game is if the whole page is gone.

I wonder if any developers here can chime in on what happens when you want to delist a game, do you get the option to just remove it from sale or can you wipe the whole page? Or is page removal something only Valve can do?

If we knew how that works we could better understand what HSG is doing.

I've seen a lot of garbage published by Playway SA and some of it looks legit (but just bad), and a lot of it looks like Unity/Unreal kitbashes and Digital Homicide style asset flips.

I never caught them using Obzor/Mipped reviews, though.

Perhaps this is a case of an asset flipper just flummoxing a somewhat genuine publisher.

That's a SellMyApp asset flip. Atomic Fabrik did a HUGE number of asset flips from SellMyApps Unity mobile game asset catalog. Square in the middle of Cristian's MO.

5 reviews on that one, and guess what... yeah every single one is from Obzor/Mipped.

It's important to judge games by the lowest common denominator platform. If it's on mobile app stores, has mobile phone tier graphics and gameplay, and is designed for mobile phones, then it's a mobile app. It doesn't matter which order it gets launched on which platform.

All that matters to gamers is that it has all the same qualities as a mobile app. If you port a mobile app to PC, it doesn't stop being a mobile app.
