Steam really should have some sort of a time limit on how long after a key is used that they can be revoked.

I agree that it needs to be prominently displayed on the store page. I've seen where only after people started giving their game bad reviews for ending in a "cliffhanger" that devs will admit that the game is episodic. Then to add insult to injury they say that if the game sales don't meet their expectations they won't make any more to finish the story. So the buyer is stuck with a game that has no conclusion and can't refund it because they've played more than the two hour limit.

I believed I was in the mainstream with my opinions, but I didn't want to make any presumptions. lol

I don't like any game that might require more than one client running at the same time. As for single-player games, it should be an actual crime to force any kind of online login. Keep in mind that these are just my personal opinions.

I'm VERY worried steam allows this. Imagine the kind of abuse that could be done.

I can see a situation where a game is getting bad reviews so the dev reverts it into EA so they can say that it's still a "work in progress". Then they walk away from it, leaving the buyer with a garbage game.

I get what you're saying but look at it like this....You buy a car, believing it's a complete car, then find out that there is no transmission/gearbox. You're not allowed to get your money back and you just have the seller's word that eventually they'll install one, and God only knows how long that'll take. I'd be mad enough to spit acid.

It looks as though the dev is going to try to complete the game but I think letting a "full release" revert to an Early Access is setting a dangerous precedent. I can see unscrupulous devs abusing this.

I don't write for a curator but I'd still be happy to write a review for you, if I've played your game. Because I'm not a curator I wouldn't feel right accepting your offer of a product key. If you let me know the name of your game I'll check my library to see if it's in my backlog. If not I'll check it out and if it's a type of game I like I'll buy it, play it, and write a review.

@hvyblade What's the game you're trying to get people to review? Maybe I have it in my library and haven't played it yet.
