That is not necessarily proof, many low-grade games use the same basic engines and assets. The only thing that is sure about them is that both are Russian as the developer contact mails are at mail.ru. But one is indielip@, the other is noreason76@.
Of course, I would also suspect the two are the same.

Well, Stardew Valley itself is just a barely modified copy-paste job from one of the Harvest Moon games, which series had many other clones over the past decades. Many of them Chinese. And an astounding number of them on iTunes. At least until they get taken down.

Regardless of that first paragraph, yes, it is a blatant clone job. Not the first one the Chinese did (dear gods, not even in the first two thousand…), but given Stardew Valley's success and number of players, I think not even hiding it in the Chinese-only section of Steam will keep it in the store for long.

I see a few others pointed it out in the game forum. Not like the devs will understand it, but still, a nice catch. I think our dear admin has some channels to Valve, so hopefully they will act swiftly. Luckily, most of their actual working people sem to be in India these days, so the post-Christmas vacation season should not slow things down.
