Trabant Extension
The trabant and all other cars were more a proof of concept. If I start to learn and experiment on things, I do small stuff like the trabant. And if it is worth the upload, I do so.

Future projects should serve a bigger purpose. And what you mean is a content update not a QOL update.

But I still like the idea except the taxi variant. That would require a skin system to work properly and most of my vehicles don't support skins which could result in that people will ask for more skin support for SW addons. That would be so much work that I wont start to do that.

Since the release of the SW Couplers, I want to add couplers to my cars and maybe, just maybe make a trailer addon for my cars.

I will consider to a dd your suggestion as future update for the trabant except the taxi variant.

That was already suggested and I have denied it. Steam engines are the next projects and the ToDo list is very full.

SD40 suggestion

The numbers can be changed already. They can even be colored.
The addon description is your friend. You should read it.

I was thinking about it in the development of the SD40-2, to make the roof and the bottom colorable too. But I decided against it.

I could add it in the future as an update.

Information - How do I report issues properly?
All steps must be filled in the bug report template, otherwise we will consider the bug report as invalid and it will be deleted.

In the past we couldn't solve problems because of the lack of informations or help from the reporter to solve the issue. Please don't do that.

Otherwise please consider not to report a bug or delete your report if you aren't interested to solve it or won't follow the necessary steps we demand.

The SW Train Cars will have a rework in the future, I will consider to add your suggestion.

4-6-2 Pacific steam locomotive
For the moment this will not be possible. Maybe later in the furture.

There is already a steam train on the list (The Adler) to start small with steam trains again.

So there is a chance to make a 4-6-2 in the future, but it will take a very long time until I can work on it. If you can accept that, I will let this suggestion undecided for now, otherwise I decline it for now.

Information - How do I report issues properly?
Template to report an issue:

# 1. Read and do the Troubleshooting guide to exclude addon conflicts.
You will tell us the result of the troubleshooting. Not having any conflicts is also a valid result and need to be mentioned. Not doing the troubleshooting or lying about it will end in a perma ban. We try to solve problems here and not fooling around for fun.

# 2. Post the SW addon name(s) in your report that the make problem(s).
Here is the best way, to post a link of the SW addon(s) that makes the problem(s).

# 3. Post Lua errors.
Post any lua error(s) from the SW addon(s). Tell us also if there are no errors at all.

# 4. Post the game version and branch in your report.
The game version can be found in the main menu in the right top corner or by typing 'version' in the gmod console. Post also the branch you are on.

# 5. Describe what is not working and where the problem occur, precisely.
You need to explain precisely what is not working to us and on which mode you are playing. Means, was it in singleplayer, local multiplayer (peer to peer) or online multiplayer on a server.

# 6. Describe the steps how to reproduce the issue.
A good explanation how to reproduce the issue. With exact steps what you did, before the error / issue occur.

# 7. Post a link of the whole gmod console log here, after the issue occurred.
Copy the console log and upload it anywhere and link it in your report. How to do so is described above in the main post. Even if there is no lua error, the console log include very useful informations that will help us as developers to get more clues. Posting no log, should not be an option. If you didn't post the log, you have to explain me why.

# 8. A video or minimum a screenshot of the problem.
Sometimes a video or at least a picture can tell more than words to determine the problem. That does not mean that if you post a video or a screenshot that all previos steps are not necessary anymore, they are still required. If it is not possible for you to make a video or a screenshot can't show the whole problem, then please say so and don't leave this step blank.

Spawning trains is entirely broken (x64, Mac, May 2nd Update)
Closed because no further details were given.
The issue was not able to be reproduced on developer side unfortunately.
