The purpose of this group is to inform you of prominent issues before buying into a game. While i write many full reviews, it's mostly warnings of Spyware, DEI, Denuvo and other problems.

If a game is found to be exceptionally good, it gets recommended.

It used to but was removed in 2017[www.eurogamer.net] in favor of a "give us money and spam your games" rule that has not worked out for anyone except Valve.

The industry has switched from making quality games to pumping out low-value microtransactions-filled heaps of garbage due to people being conditioned to have extremely low standards.

Crimson Desert adds Denuvo last minute

Like so many other despicable companies, Pearl Abyss withheld the fact the game has Denuvo 1 week before release:

This is being done intentionally due to the Denuvo-employee admitted fact that anyone who uses their service has their reputation and public goodwill get destroyed.

Goodbye Community Awards

In their eternal wisdom, Valve has decided to completely and utterly demolish Community Awards in response to an easily solvable problem.

Recipients of community awards will now get 0 points.

All the old icons are now completely gone and replaced with 12 soulless blobs of shìt.

Old rewards are now 100% collapsed and hidden by default.

Award profile showcases? All the old ones are 100% gone.

The new icons all cost the same, making them even more bland and meaningless.

This has completely decimated many people's drive to do things like create mods, write good game reviews or otherwise submit solid community content.

Well done, Valve.

I would sooner hope there is no highly-invasive rootkit 'anti-cheat' since it's an online game. At the very least such games should have proper offline modes.

@Fenrir - lol, seems that way. PlanetSide 2 is pretty much dead as is... let it die, imo.

Supposedly PS3 has been in the works. If no woke slop is injected, then I hope it does well so long as all the bugs, bad registry and unoptimized mess is corrected from the PS2 engine.

Also, in forum of https://steamhost.cn/app/1149460/ICARUS/ - one of their games, they permanently ban people without warning who mention EOS(Epic Online Services), even though the game has it. There are also some disturbing individuals there with attacks/threats just for simply stating the game has EOS.
