Monthly Update April 2026 & Giveaway #3
March Recap

New Guides:

Last month started slowly, as I dropped my guide for The Artisan of Glimmith. The game already features an extensive in-game hint system that covers both puzzle solutions and the locations of hidden puzzle boxes, so I didn't see any benefit in an external guide.

However, the release of Project Songbird was a nice surprise. It's a shiver-inducing psychological horror game with surprisingly good voice acting, and I had a lot of fun putting together a guide.

March ended with Life is Strange: Reunion, and it's another excellent entry in the series. I had to complete the game four times to finish the guide, so I had a lot of time to explore the different outcomes. It was really interesting, but also quite painful, to see how seemingly minor decisions could block you from an optional conversation (and therefore, an achievement) :LIS_butterfly:

Additionally, Supraworld released another part of Act 2 along with 12 new achievements, adding up to 80 achievements. This is now the highest number of achievements I've ever covered in a single guide. I'm still trying to unlock the last 2, but it shouldn't take too long to finish them.

Apart from the guides, the website got a massive visual update, especially the mobile version which features a sidebar with a section menu now! Hope you like it :)

Giveaway & Plans for April

This month's giveaway features:

:crystaltrophy: Life is Strange: Reunion - Deluxe Edition
:crystaltrophy: Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss (Releases April 16)
:crystaltrophy: Gecko Gods (Releases April 16)

Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss is a mystery thriller developed by the same team who made The Council and Vampire: The Masquerade Swansong, releasing mid-April. Its atmosphere immediately hooked me and I cannot wait to play and guide it.

Gecko Gods is such a cute game. Exploring the world as a tiny gecko while solving puzzles and jumping across obstacles must be guaranteed fun. Both games release on the same day, so I hope I will be able to guide them both without any delays.

On top of that, the survival horror game Ground Zero releases soon. I love the style and post-apocalyptic South Korean setting, and would like to cover it. I'm also looking forward to the first-person adventure game WILL: Follow The Light, which releases toward the end of the month. I already playtested it a few weeks ago and it's one of those rare games you wish you developed yourself. It will be featured in May's giveaway, so stay tuned!

Monthly Update March 2026 & Giveaway #2
February Recap

In February, I published two 100% Achievement Walkthroughs for the horror FMV games The Run[spire-of-completion.com] and Heart of the Forest[spire-of-completion.com] on the Spire of Completion. The last FMV game I covered was back in 2021 with The World After, so it was more than time to revisit the genre. It was a lot of fun exploring the different routes and optimizing the achievement-related paths. Hope it won't take me another 5 years for the next FMV guide!

Giveaway & Plans for March

This month's giveaway features:

:crystaltrophy: Resident Evil Requiem
:crystaltrophy: Echoes of the Living (Early Access)
:crystaltrophy: The Artisan of Glimmith (Releases March 17)

Resident Evil Requiem needs no introduction. The latest installment in the survival horror series was released just a few days ago, and I loved it so much that I took a day off work and completed it in one sitting. If you are a fan of the series, you definitely don't want to miss this one!

Echoes of the Living might be one of - or even the - best classic survival horror games released this decade. It entered Early Access last October and just received a massive update adding 68 new achievements. I'm currently updating the 100% Walkthrough[spire-of-completion.com] on the website and plan to finish it next week.

The Artisan of Glimmith is a beautiful puzzle game that promises a cozy atmosphere and increasingly challenging logic puzzles. I'm planning to compile an achievement and solution guide, hopefully available right at release in mid-March. It's the perfect change of pace after focusing so heavily on horror games lately.

Additionally, Life is Strange: Reunion launches on March 26. I’m planning to publish an achievement guide shortly after release and feature it in April’s giveaway - so stay tuned! :LIS_butterfly:

Hello! Just dropped in to show support.
It's amazing how much you've done in both completions and time to make guides for them!

Thank you, Lyric! I'm glad you like it :orwell_relationship: And yes, it's been almost 9 years since I've published my first achievement guide for Tales of Escape, and now there are more than 200 of them. Will keep the group lists updated, and add one for planned future guides :)

I had no idea how many guides you had put together over the years. Quite a body of work and much more effective to have a central 'go to' point!
