We're back (for now)!

After a few months of inactivity I finally decided to set up a new session of something! SCP:SL will be hosted on September 6th, time will be decided upon tomorrow.

It's unknown if it'll be the current version as recently an opportunity opened up for us to play on older versions like Megapatch II! It all depends if I can get a response from Northwood as it's been a bit since I bugged them for a server :P

More active updates will be on the Discord, I hope to see you there :D

The RPee Boys for 2025!

Hey everyone! As we move further into 2025 (damn it's already February?) I thought it would be prudent to talk about the future of The RPee Boys and things that have happened since the Discord server went dormant again.

So, first things first, why do things keep going silent? Well to put it bluntly, I don't really have much motivation to set up events as frequently anymore. There's a few reasons for this but I'll list my main two. 1. I'm trying to focus more on my own personal projects like YouTube and Twitch. 2. People just don't seem that interested. I think a resounding two people showed up for the last session which was literally the final time we would ever play Friday The 13th (since it shut down) lol. I'm not upset though because granted, people have lives and, to be fair, the Discord server was originally just intended for Zomboid (shoutouts to "RPeeing Zum Bois").

Speaking of Zomboid I suppose I should officially say this... The second Project Zomboid Build 42 Multiplayer comes out I WILL be setting up a world. Now whether or not this will be an RP-centered world will be left up to you guys when the time comes since I'm not sure how comfortable I am setting up a world for people to get super invested into on an Unstable branch but I digress. Us playing on this world would likely be a weekly thing like the old days but it might be even more common depending on how life is treating me at the time.

As for other games and when we'd play them... I would LIKE to have at least one monthly session of either SCP:SL or Intruder (our 2 most popular games besides Zomboid) and then maybe a bonus session on a different game if I have the time that month. Remains to be seen on if things will line up for this to happen properly. ALSO, I know some people have been interested in having a campaign on a certain traumatic game but I'll have to think on that proposition some more (if we were to do that it would be a weekly thing like Zomboid).

So yeah that's where were at. Basically just an awkward period of waiting for Zomboid Build 42 MP to drop. Let's hope it comes sooner rather than later cuz I miss playing with you guys. Thanks for everything and I hope you're all having a good year so far.

TL;DR: Not as much interest in the server nowadays therefore not as much interest from me. However we'll be playing a TON of Project Zomboid once Build 42 Multiplayer releases. Also we MAY still have a monthly session of either SCP:SL or Intruder, depending on some factors. Possible trauma, need to think about it. Stay safe :)
