I was initially going to boycott this boycott, but then I decided to boycott my earlier decision by buying the game today. Does that still keep me compliant with the boycott boycotting? @loltonytony: The demo is the full game, just locked. When you purchase Torchlight, there's nothing to download - the app is unlocked and all your characters and everything in your chests & inventory is still there. :)

Hmm... am I alone in thinking that Diablo 3 will be a big let down and that TorchLight will have been the best we'll ever get? :P

I have it unzipped to t that location .. but they are still not active.. do i have to do something else to them once i have them saved to that location?

C: -> Program Files -> Steam -> steamapps -> common -> Torchlight. That should do it if you've got Steam installed in the default directory. (Program Files (x86) if you have a 64bit OS) :)

How do you Install mods? I know how you would install them if you bought the game naturally.. but for those like me who bought and downloaded from steam.. I am having issues accessing the games direct files.. I can only access from steam, which will not let me access the mods files, or in other games the game file so i can edit the config thing.

The mmo should be good, but im more excited about the two guys working on a multiplayer mod for torchlight over in the torchlight forums.

Torchlight is quality, it's great just to kick back to and then CLICK and they die, CLICK again somthing else dies. Simplistic genius. I LOVE IT!!!
