So, we noticed a boycott for Torchlight. This group is to boycott that boycott! Why did they boycott Torchlight you might ask? Well, because they feel they got shafted by Hellgate: London.....

I'm a little late on this, but PWE has announced a new game in the Torchlight IP, Torchlight Frontiers.

About the developers:

Echtra Games is a San Francisco-based game studio comprised of seasoned developers who helped shaped the world of action role-playing games. The team was founded in early 2016 by Max Schaefer, co-creator of genre-defining game franchises like Torchlight and Diablo. A longstanding dream to revive the world of Torchlight inspired him to reunite some of the industry’s best developers and create the studio’s very first project, Torchlight Frontiers.

So, sounds like torchlights response to diablo 3, with a bit of MMO thrown in? I'm sad that travis and eric arent around, but could still be great. Could we see a return to roots with a Mythos-esque mmo game style? I want to believe... <cue x-files music>

The day of Torchlight 2 dawning upon us is drawing near, and to reflect this, Torchlight 2 is now available on the steam store for preorder.

The game itself is going to be $20usd as advertised, or come in a handy 4-pack for $60usd so you can coop with your friends from day 1.

And if this wasnt enough, anyone who preorders gets a free giftable copy of the original game to give to a friend so they can get up to speed with the games universe.

I was initially going to boycott this boycott, but then I decided to boycott my earlier decision by buying the game today. Does that still keep me compliant with the boycott boycotting? Or, by personally boycotting the boycotting of the boycotting the boycotting -- am I in general violation of too many double negatives within one sentence?
