Marine Corps:

HISTORY: Captain Samuel Nicholas formed two battalions of Continental Marines on 10 November 1775 in Philadelphia as naval infantry. Since then, the mission of the Marine Corps has evolved with changing military doctrine and American foreign policy. The Marine Corps has served in every American armed conflict and attained prominence in the 20th century when its theories and practices of amphibious warfare proved prescient and ultimately formed the cornerstone of the Pacific campaign of World War II. By the mid-20th century, the Marine Corps had become the dominant theorist and practitioner of amphibious warfare. Its ability to rapidly respond on short notice to expeditionary crises gives it a strong role in the implementation and execution of American foreign policy.

Marine Corps Info:

•145,000 Combat Troops: Sea duty Marines.*1

•5,000 Staff Personnel Based in DC and other Marine Bases.*2

•2,500 Maintenance Crewmen.*3

•The 100.000 Combat Troops are spread over 3 Corps and 1 Division. 30,000 a Corps and 10,000 a division, and two 5,000 man brigades in pearl harbor and parris island.
•1 Corps is subdivided in 3 Division, with each 2 battalions
• 20.000 paratroopers spread over the whole Marine Corps

Due to resent aggression from the USSR the US Marines have been put on Alert. Enemy navies have started to aggressively patrol the sea's.
Marines at Pearl Harbor, and on the Marines on the 2nd fleet have been prepared for battle, in the event of a war.
As Lt. General Gore has been arrested, M. General Axton will take over the command of Pearl Harbor temporarily.

Marines, i have already asked, and i am asking again, please post at least 1 announcement every 2 weeks, i can be anything, promotion, training, any stuff a regular marine corps unit does. i am seeing very low activity lately, and would want it to change. If you are not interested in the job, do not be afraid to resign, but i need people i can trust for the Job, and not some inactive people. i know i can be pushy, but please at least try.

On the Recruitment schools, you forgot Quantico Virginia, where they train US Marine Officers.

There's more to the Marines history. What you have is just the origin of the United States Marines. You forgot about the First Barbary War(1801-1805). The Mexican-American War(1846-1848). World War 1, and the Island Hopping Campain during WW2. Don't forget the Raising of the Flag on Iwo Jima. The Korean War(1950-1953). The Vietnam War, Gulf War, and of course the Modern day Marines.
