I've started a GoFundMe a while ago trying to raise money for a 3d printer that's capable of high detail prints with almost no post work needed. I've found a way to take game assets, such as player made bases, ships, and other creations, and turn them into printed models. These models can be painted, or not, and displayed. Several times I've built something on Empyrion and wanted to have it as a model, kinda like the models from Warhammer 40k.

I've found a less expensive printer and cut costs of operations by talking to a few people at MakersFaire Detroit, and found a company based out of Grand Rapids MI, called MUVE 3D. The printer alone cuts the total cost by $1,000, and the maintanance is a lot less than the Form2 printer I originally had posted, plus I don't have to buy the expensive trays.

I've been running into brick walls lately over what to do for a job. As many of you know, my wife had Leukemia two years ago. She's doing great now, the recovery has been going better than anyone expected, but I'm still in a situation where I can't work a normal job and be stuck where I can't just jump up and take care of her or my family. Disability pay only goes so far, it covers most of our expenses, but where it lacks, I'm having a hard time filling in the gaps. I owned a business for 5 years, a hobby shop based out of Houghton Lake MI, and had to close it down when my wife got sick, I'm no stranger to running a business. Thats why I'm confident I can make this a success.

I'm asking for $3500, this covers the cost of the printer as wel las supplies and recording equipment because I plan on recording the printing process and adding the content to my YouTube channel. We've already raised $200, Thank you guys! We have a bit more to go, anything helps. ^_^
