Dear Arktic1 Members... Arktic1 Chucky (Co-leader) and I The Leader and Founder of Arktic1 have decided that it would be in the clan's best interest if we were to have a new start! To those members who have been dedicated and thankful to the clan we sincerely thank you for your contributions to making Arkctic1 the great clan it is but unfortunately Arktic1 is taking a new approach in the best interest of our clan and all of our members. We have decided to preform a sweep of the clan and leave room for those members who actually participate and take pride in Arktic1. It has come to our knowledge that many members have not been as devoted as they used to be. This sweep will allow for a new version of Arktic1 to be born as well as new faces. We sincerely hope that you understand our intention for temporarily removing you from the clan as we only want the best for our members. Attention all Arktic1 Members. From now on Heavy Restrictions will be placed on member-member relations. No members may try and "prank" any other members. "Pranking" includes scamming members of their skins, insulting them through slurs, or slandering them in front of others. There is no world in which scamming can be interpreted as a prank. When you see somebody's skins juts realize those came from money, often obtained by that user or received as a gift. Arktic1 does not want to be associated with people who go around ruining people's days and giving them a hard time by STEALING their hard worked money. Dear Arktic1 members, the clan’s staff including Shah and I have decided to hold tryouts for higher ranked players in order to form the highest tier of a team possible. These tryouts will take place in about a week or so. Once this team is formed there will be practices held and the team will play in league matches as well (Faceit, ESEA, CEVO, ECS). The tryouts will be held to test the skill of players in many different ways and after the tryouts there will be interviews with the players that are being considered to be added to the roster in order to determine a mix of things. These are some of the details which follow after the roster has been decided. There will be about 7-8 players taken for the team 5 for the roster one AWPer, one IGL, one entry fragger, and two riflers (one possibly a secondary AWPer as well). The other 2-3 players will be stand-ins and will be expected to still be committed to the team even though they will not play in some matches. Much more information will be posted later on in the week and before tryouts. Sorry for the vague post but we are still discussing the details of everything. More announcements will be made during the week and during next week as well.

To sum up everything Arktic is going to take the team to the next level and you should try to practice during the two weeks before the tryouts in order to increase your chance of making the team.

Dear Arktic1,

This clan was started, in late July 2016. Since then the clan has changed significantly. The first noticeable change, is the number in size. Back then Arktic1 only had a few members including myself, Reap3r, Shaggy, Aqua, and a few other members who later departed from us. Our number went from 6 all the way to over 70 active members. Although we even had more members last month, half of them needed to be kicked due to their skill and inactivity. As the number of people grew in Arktic1, so did the talent within it. Arktic1 slowly became home to a clan of creative designers, talented players, and most importantly good hearted people.

Watching the transformation of Arktic1, has been nothing but astounding for me as a leader, and I hope for even more positive growth in the new year. However, before I start talking about next year's goals, I want to share a few of the achievements, and experiences Arktic1 gained in 2016.

First of all, Arktic1 had the ability, to bring in a variety of different members, and fuse them all into one team successfully. Although each and every member has unique personalities and game styles, they put that apart when taking part in Arktic1, and helped make our clan what it is today. In 2016, we managed to create our own logo, not just any logo, a damn great one. Something other clans do not posses until much later. We also distributed a creative and different logo for many of members. Arktic1 had its first official match against another clan, and came out with a win! The total wins Arktic1 members had playing together increased above 100! Arktic1 set up its YouTube channel, set with banners and a profile pic. Now let's talk money. Arktic1's Skin Net Worth is.... well over 2000$. If we include our Giga Traders, it's over 8000$. Aside from Cs-Go, Arktic1 managed to spread to other games, including as far as Call of Duty on PS4 and Xbox. Congratulations on all the achievements Arktic1!

Now that I've expressed only a few of Arktic1's achievements in 2016, I would like to take the opportunity to thank some of my fellow members. Keep in mind, I have something unique to thank for every one of my members, but I'm saying the ones which had the strongest effect on the clan, and on me. First, I would like to thank Reap3r for being by my side from the start of the clan, and supporting me in almost all major clan decisions. Without his support near the beginning of the clan, the clan may have not been where it is today. His dedication still lives on, even today. Next I would like to thank Shaggy. Although Shaggy is not as active now a days due to his computer, he was and always will be a crucial part of the clan. Without his amazing recruiting skills, we would not have had many of the members our clan depends on today, one of those members being Chucky! If it was not for Shaggy accepting Chucky's 8 year old brother into the clan, we would have never discovered the man himself. Next I would like to thank MnMs. Some of you might be asking why I even mentioned this kid, but how could I not. Since joining the clan MnMs, has had a quite explosive impact. MnMs, stayed loyal to the clan, throughout its whole journey. He stayed loyal during a time, where even my most trusted members at that point were leaving. I will always remember MnMs's loyalty, and believe me it will always keep him high up in this clan. Next I would like to thank Aqua. Aqua has always managed to come into my life somehow. He has been in all of my clans ranging from Instagram, to Minecraft, and managed to somehow end up here in Arktic. Aside being in all of my clans, he also has supported me through all of them as well. Finally I'd like to thank Chucky. In my opinion, Chucky has shown his worth by not only playing great in games, but also bringing Arktic1's gaming team to another level. Chucky organized the in game positions, and brought the essence of organization into the clan. Without his presence, our teams would not be even close to what they are now.
