I don't think it's bad on its own so to say. It's sorta like a tweaked YER in a way. I think the problem is that the fact that it doesn't make it obvious when a backstab happens. Actually, why not make it not do damage on backstab, but 5 or six seconds of bleed instead? That way the player will notice the backstab easier and in a way that also makes it so there's almost no way self healing medics can't pick up health packs after regening to full health. This would also make it easier for your team members to notice the backstabs too. Plus it sorta fits the biological warfare theme of the knife I think.

It might not possible to add something like that. Even though I am not one of the coders, based on what I have requested on other things, it is probably not possible.

I still think the infection needs to affect your hud like the flames of a pyro. Maybe give a sight greenish tint to the edges of the screen when stabbed? The main problem with the infeection knife is that it's VERY easy to not notice or mistake for a simple butterknife. By maybe changing the hud or adding a little icon it will be easier to tell, even if for just a second.

No, it's for number of players for each class, not weapons

Aren't there votes for both?

PLEASE DON'T LIMIT THE OFFICIAL VALVE WEAPONS. Most of the time I like to mix valve and custom weapons. Personally I wish more customs went well with official weapons though.
