I myself am pretty bussy with my project so all I can do for you is give you some words.

If you have no access to reformatting the game but are convinced that the mechanics are fun, why not give it a shot with REbuilding it in UNITY? With newer grafix and stuff... I've just checked the tutourials on it a year ago and it looks like a good tool for getting into 3d games.

Have you tried TIG Source Forums or other retro gaming forums? And The idea with the students wasn't bad either!

This subforum is intended for developers to share their progress on active development, exchange tips and feedback. Just make a new discussion with the title of your game and preferably include a link to your Greenlight submission in the first post. Be honest and polite.

Use the public announcement features on your Greenlight or Storefront page to inform your followers about public updates and you can use this forum for 'behind the scenes' activity that you wish to share with your peers.

Well, seems like there isn't too much demand on this at the moment I guess. Or not much to offer here yet maybe.

Like I said on the open board, I think there are better ways to support each other more directly. This group is just a little starting point so we can make some open discussions and when we ask the right questions and enough people participate - it might work out.... =)
