LR Mod Request : Extinction meter
Could it be possible (and worth it/easy) to create a mod to know how much mobs of a species you have killed and how many you still have to kill so the species go extinct ?

Well, general rule of thumb is 30 for large, 60-80 for medium, and 90-120 for small enemies. Notable exceptions being only 30 Cactuar, and all unique enemies on the final day are also 30. I'm not certain on whether or not it'd be feasible to put a counter in the game or not, but the game kind of already gives you a tracking method. You can tell how many you've killed by looking at the number of trash item that mob drops in your inventory taking into consideration how many you've given up to the Canvas of Prayers and/or Side Quests.

Yup I know I can track it using trash items and learn the extinction rate by visiting the FF Wiki but I'm not asking for workarounds ^^

Excellent request was planning on making the same.

Either a common rare extinct market on the beast index page, or a number showing how many left. After the first playthru its a pain to check.
