Aerith will take time, work so far has just been adding support for modding at all, but we have some ideas with how to tackle her. Everyone will just have to be patient on that one, I wouldn't expect it anytime soon.

Things like Siegfried and Adornments shouldn't be hard to restore, I just need to find them all and figure out a clean means of implementing them. Currently I'm thinking of using the outerworld shop in the menu, but I am not sure how that works yet.

And yes I'd like to see about party members or swapping between three characters as opposed to Schema. Those should be quite viable possibilities given what I know and have seen of the schemata system. There's soooooo many unknowns to cover, though. LR added a lot of new variables into the mix (which is a good thing!) that I need to cover before I can do anything tooooo fancy.

It's a possibility at this point, yes. But due to the differences of LR, and the discontinuation of ff13tool usage.. It's taking a bit more work than usual from my end. I'll do what I can.

I've been working on setting up mod support, haven't had much playtime in myself yet. If you can figure out what's causing it though, we'll see what we can do to mitigate this in the future. Also yeah, you're always welcome to post feedback here on the games. Bugs are real, crap happens, that's just life.

We won't know how possible a lot of things are until we dig into the game. XIII-2 evolved a lot over time, from a simple hacky demonstration to a big impressive compilation of mods. I've learned a lot since then, but LR is very much its own beast.

It hopefully won't be too long. The mod itself is more or less already done, the issue at current is that LR has a few changes that make the current patcher fail, so we need a bit more time to fix that, then it'll be released.

It's not pointless, I intend to create a tool for this actually. Something people can run and use to rename schemata and the chocobo without the need of screwing around with cheat engine all the time.

I definitely don't like it either, believe me. It might not be easy to fix this one, though.. LR uses some interesting security protocols, and I don't want to step on SE's toes, as chrcoluk said earlier.

Mods will be a bit, need to figure out some changes made to LR. For the most part it's looking okay, but there are a few seriously annoying things I want to figure out before pushing forward.
