I'd previously supplied the Xbox 360 files (the only ones I had) to Krisan, and your files are (mostly) identical to the ones I had, though I'm curious why your white_p0000003scr_e.x360.bin file is 10KB while my white_p0000003scr_e.x360.bin file is 6KB, that's a bit odd. Anyway...

As far as I know, these are the only files required, because if you'll have a look in directory ..\Steam\steamapps\common\LIGHTNING RETURNS FINAL FANTASY XIII\weiss_data\dlc, you'll see folders for all the rest (and note that 0000003 is missing, that's Aerith), and each of those folders only have four files apiece in them:

filelist_p00000xximg_a.win32.bin
filelist_p00000xximg_v.win32.bin
white_p00000xximg_a.win32.bin
white_p00000xximg_v.win32.bin

_a and _v being for the English and Japanese versions of the game, why there's copies. So, I'm not even exactly sure what the scr files are for on Xbox 360 and why it has them when PS3 and PC files don't have them, only img files. I don't actually do any modding, myself. I'm a tester.

If it's only an unlocker, please say so, I'll see what I can find in the base game files for both X360 and PS3 builds if that is the case.

The problem, as well as I understand it, is that the game on PC is coded differently than it is on console, so it's not just a matter of putting the files back where they should be (because the files are just totally missing, though the directory they would go in is still there), but figuring out how to encode them so that the PC version can understand them. The unique abilities from the garb, weapon, and shield are still in the game, so that's not an issue, but getting the game to load the models for the garb, weapon, and shield, that's the real tipping point.

You can pretty much already do that. Just move past nodes and don't activate them.

Seriously, the work that would be involved in modifying the Sphere Grid this much to lock you out of nodes because you picked other nodes would be pretty unreal. And destroy the whole system of being able to customize your characters any way you see fit.

I'm not trying to be mean or anything, but this is the kind of stuff that challenge runs are made of, it's a cool idea, but you can do it yourself with the tools the game already offers you if it's what you're interested in doing.

As an aside, paying for mods I'm pretty sure is against some EULA or ToS somewhere.

The easiest way would be to just have Steam verify files. But if you back up the files before you mod them, you can do that yourself to only get rid of one mod instead of all of them which verifying files will do, restoring all files to their default state.

Elementa, and it's already max level. Notably stronger than is possible legitimately. Elementa maxes at 8.9x power, but Yuna's Elementa is at 9.8x power. I think someone made a typo.

About what I expected, but good to know! Of course, you could just give your new Heavy Slash the Slayer auto-ability if you wanted. Or any other ability any other auto-ability for that matter.

That does sound a bit more simple. I guess I read the part where chrcoluk said the script wasn't working, so I decided to approach it from a different perspective, to just edit them using the part of the table that seemed made for that sort of thing. It is a very powerful table, with many different functions. Different ways to do the same thing.

I guess the question I would have would be if the garb retains its auto-abilities from locked abilities using that method. I wouldn't think it would, but it's possible that if you applied an ability with no auto-ability that it could inherit the one that was already there, maybe. But I'm not sure if it's actually giving you four blank slots or lets you overwrite the locked slot. "Ignore" seems to imply that the locked ability would still be there, but you can put something on top of it, but you said "4 empty slots", so... dunno. And I'm at work right now, so I can't check.

You've just made that entirely too complicated, chrcoluk. I just went and got I assume the cheat table that you were using, and all you have to do is go to Enable 6 -> Pointers -> Schemata and set the ability (Garb Locked Ability) and its status (Equipped) both to Empty, and that's it. Completely unlocked slot. Not sure what you're on about with all of those extra steps.

The black bars are because there's literally nothing to put there, no assets to show. The alternative is to crop the image and you lose something that could be being seen otherwise. It's like letterboxing in film. If you've played Final Fantasy VII on PC or the recent rerelease on PS4, they have black space too for the same reason.
