Modpack for MC is FTB Revelations (A lightweight pack, can run on laptops reasonably well.) You can find it on the twitch launcher.

If you have issues with a connection timeout on the Minecraft server, use the following mod called Random Patches. It is a clientside mod that fixes the timeout issue. Link is below: link[minecraft.curseforge.com]
