"It's a walking simulator. I've made a walking simulator before, but in that one you could mess with things. There were physics. There was a meat hook you can push to knock over some wood. If you have a walking simulator, at least add at least something you can mess with. According to the Half Life series, a lot of people spent a lot of time in that playground section because they love to mess with physics. Anyway, it's pretty epic."

"Pretty well made series. The fact that it's split up into parts makes it feel larger than it is. Although, besides some solid environmental work (you can get through areas in multiple ways too), there was nothing really noteworthy about the save, making it kind of generic. Overall, a good all rounder."

"It's amazing just how much effort went into this. Very well made...it's just that it's not my thing. It's way too hard. The enemies can shred you in moments in a few scenarios. Also, the lag. You know it's bad when you have a computer with a RTX and even then it slows down to a crawl. A good effort with good gameplay, even if I had trouble enjoying it myself."

Yep, this is one of the handier tools at our disposal for sure.

Post screenshots or videos of easter eggs, out-of-bounds credits, or references in saves here. Try not to post easter eggs from your own saves, let others find them instead!

So, first of all, I love the flavor text. Second of all, the use of bricks against small enemies like headcrabs is really cool. Kind of feels like The Last of Us, using small objects in combat instead of guns (since supplies are low). Secret supply caches are always a welcome touch (and I found a couple too)!

Barnacles also felt like much more of a threat in the beginning because I would've been defenseless had I been grabbed.

Only gripes I have is that ammo became way too abundant once I started fighting the combine, and the 3D2D text screens would sometimes block me from picking up guns / items.

Depot Escape (Act One) is a pretty good first entry to what I assume will be a nice series. Everything is pretty good except for the hints. You should definitely tone those down, or at least provide a more in-story way of providing them (like the guy at the fence). I would also suggest using Wiremod for a little extra spice, but it's okay if you don't want / know how to use Wire.
