The Hellfire Club is an official D&D club at Hawkins High School. Eddie Munson is the leader of the Hellfire Club. One campaign the members participated in was known as the Cult of Vecna, during which Eddie was the master of the game.

The Hellfire Club appears to operate in the lower cafeteria area of Hawkins High School, due to the unique misfortunes experienced in the town due to the Upside Down and the tabloid media's fear of satanic worship among teenagers. As Eddie implies, members are often excluded if they are "lost sheep" or outsiders. Eddie also implied that membership came with a degree of protection, but demanded loyalty on campaign nights. Club members create and wear white shirts with black long sleeves, finished with the Hellfire Club name and logo in the center.

The Hellfire Club is housed in a theater room, as evidenced by the stage lights, curtains, and props seen around them during game night.
