I created this video showing how to get round the BTs in the Wind Farm Valley as they appear Early game when you don't have many defences and they're a PITA at the best of times.

As you enter the valley where the Wind Farm is located, turn right immediately and use a ladder to go up the cliff there. Then remain high and right until you're above the Wind Farm itself. You really just need 1 ladder but take additional ropes and ladders, they'll make your life a lot easier.

This run shows you the route I prepared after a couple of trips.
