NOTE: I am a volunteer Admin of GMR. I have been just a regular player on GMR since mid 2014. At the end of November 2016 one of the GMR Developers Nullmaster, made me an Admin, so that I can help the community when I can. Both of the developers, Nullmaster and Tazzik, said they were not having enough spare time to help out and the old Admin Rillithain is gone for some time. So, I am not sure who is checking the e-mails, facebook and twitter accounts, but the best way to request support (for me to see it) is to post it on https://civ5.slack.com/messages/gmr-support/details/ ; I also occasionally check https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/groups/multiplayerrobot/discussions/0/

I highly recommend against using marathon speed in a GMR game. Even quick speed games sometimes take years, I have not witnessed a marathon speed game ever being completed. At most use Standard speed, not even Epic speed.

Also, I suggest you join Slack to find players :)

The 3 civs that need replacement players are:
(1) Zulu, that was played by Severnik; and its team mate (2) Carthage that was played by Lil.

(3) Assyria, that was last played by Ogillan (not sure who played it before), team mate of AI controlled Indonesia. Assyria itself is in good shape but Indonesia is about to be destroyed, so we are not looking for a replacement player for Indonesia and whoever volunteers to take over Assyria should know that it would be a significant challenge to survive alone in a game where everyone else has an ally.

If you meant "play Civ 5 multiplayer on GMR", then you are at the right place. However, you might have a better chance of organising a game if you join our Slack community, as I think most active players are there:

Slack is a chat / communication platform. When we started, it was mostly the players of the unofficial GMR League, but now we have also as many non-League GMR players using it. Some players, like myself, prefer it to the GMR messages as you can create private groups etc.

Sometimes there is a delay in syncing the GMR desktop app the GMR web site; after waiting some time, the desktop app will also realize that you are no longer in those games.

The issue with surrendering is solved by Nullmaster yesterday, please let us know if you still experience problems with surrendering in your games.

Adyyc is caught cheating in a League game (http://multiplayerrobot.com/Game#25459), when confronted he confessed that he cheated and per League Rule#12

#12 Cheaters: Any player caught cheating will be banned from the league, and reported to the GMR Site Admins

he is banned from the League and the 1vs1 Tournament (as all tournament games are also League games). He is removed from his current League and Tournament games, but he is allowed to play on GMR in any non-League / Tournament games.
