To increase the probability of finding players, I suggest also joining our Slack group; most of the players there are extremely reliable and also have been actively playing on GMR for some time now, so finding / starting a League and/or non-League game with reliable players is much more likely over there.

Slack is a chat / communication platform. When we started, it was mostly the players of the unofficial GMR League, but now we have also as many other GMR players using it. Some players, like myself, prefer it to the GMR and Steam messages as you can create private groups etc. There are 161 GMR players in our Slack group, not all of them are very active on Slack and/or GMR at the moment, but still a lot of communication takes place there (game specific discussions, recruitment for new games, finding replacement players etc.)

Looking for a player to take over Persia, which is impressively #1 in technology (72 tech), production and military power; no mean feat in a game where Persia is an independent state (not in any team, but might have been allied with the Allies team) and the Axis and Allies teams are(were) 5 civs each and Arabian League is 2 civs. It is a shame that Artorius, who played Persia has gone inactive on GMR.

Persia is in the middle of a nuclear conquest, nuking and capturing Ottoman cities, while Ottomans' team mates (Germany, Rome, Siam and Japan, all played by humans) are trying to send help to save Ottomans from total destruction (they already lost 4 cities, including their capital); so, playing Persia might become quite a challenge soon.

If there are more players interested to join this action packed game on a huge size true start location world map, there are also other vacant spots.

Allies Team:
Shoshone (Woadax) and America (Colmodena) are played by humans, England and Poland are controlled by AI, while Polynesia is eliminated from the game (joint conquest of Axis Team's Japan and Siam).
Poland lost several cities to the Ottomans and now down to 1 city, so it is not in a very good situation, but if you are up for a challenge, you might decide to play Poland.
England is under pressure by Axis Team's Germany and Rome as well as their ally Spain, but still have not lost a city and defending valiantly, while their team mate America is sending reinforcements.

Independent States and Arab League:
Egypt's (Ibanut) team mate Arabia is played by AI, has 7 cities and looks like it is in a good condition and also managed to stay out of all the wars in the area.
Russia (g0mezg0mez) is at war with the Axis team.
Spain (kaimasterz) is at war with the Allies team.
Brazil (IttoOgami) and Morocco (Mad_Smaks) are neutral as far as I know.

AI Controlled independent civs:
Civ: Score - City Count - Total pop - Tech Count
Indonesia: 493 - 7 - 87 - 70 (at peace with all)
India: 448 - 4 - 54 - 64 (at peace with all)
Sweden: 376 - 4 - 39 - 61 (at peace with all)
China: 347 - 3 - 22 - 59 (lost 2 expansion cities to Japan, now at peace with all)
Aztecs: 324 - 3 - 29 - 63 (at peace with all)

I am also in several 22 players and one 21 players game, but maybe all those were created by DLL mods, so not sure if they are the same with your case as you are using another DLL mod.

Some players are using NQMod and playing multiplayer games on GMR and I think that is identical to your case (I have never used it, so I might be wrong). clients seems to be working (can download and upload savefiles), but I am also having some problems with the website.

Interestingly, I logged out and logged back in to the website and now ll is wel. Maybe log out log in helped or maybe the problem was resolved at the same time.

Seems like the GMR server is slow today, so I thought it would be a good idea to bump this thread as the above detailed issue can happen often during such times.

New Client is not for the existing GMR games, it is for the new GMR site what was in the testing stage some time ago, but for the moment the development is apparently slowed down. Anyway, the new client will not show the games form the existing GMR website. I am not sure what is wrong with your the current client and your GMR games though, sorry...

Not sure if this is related to your recent upgrade of your GMR account; because in my experience it sometimes takes a few hours for the recently joined games to show up in my GMR Client.

We are at the very early stages of the game, just turn 40 or so and the game is using standard speed. Also it is important to note that all of the civs are at similar levels, I do not think any civ is ahead of the others.
