Huzzah! Our deliverance is at hand. A good, loyal, member of the NAACA has brought to our open arms the Nigerian fertility statue. We quickly packaged the statue and took it to our local post office. When we arrived, a thought pierced into my skull, a thought so destructive to our plans that I could not bare express it. However, I am an elected official and I took an oath to serve and protect with transparent action. I turned to my comrades, adjusted my tie and said with my eyes forward “We-I have forgotten to include the 500 dollars with the statue as a safety deposit to the Nigerian prince.” At first the post office was silent, but one by one they applauded my honesty until the walls roared with great vibrations of forgiverance. When the thunder quieted, the issue of the 500 dollars hung low over our heads. Where were we to find this money? I knew the answer, but I promised to not fall in with them. They were evil, and stood for injustice. But how else would the NAACA get the money, I ask you? “How about…” It was rhetorical, reader! Of course there was no other solution. I fervidly dialed the numbers on my phone. There was a ring, and then a pause. It rang once more. A secretary named Roberta answered and I told her I wished to speak with the one they called Jake. I was put on hold. HOLD! Me, on hold? Now I knew he was attempting to humiliate me, but I took it with high amounts of grace and dignity. After twelve minutes I was connected to the leader of the People Who’s Name Start with J. I could hear him salivating in anticipation of my request. He knew all to well I needed something from him. So I asked, and he agreed. That bastard agreed, damn him! I pray that this does not come to bite me later. The political theater is a treacherous place to wander in. Do not lose faith in the cause my brothers and sisters, we are closer to the final objective. The clock is close to midnight.

On a lighter note!
The quarterly poker game was a smash success. Darktemplar left with the most gained and Spooky won the most try-hard costume award. All-in-all fun was had, tears were shed, and words were exchanged. Maybe next quarter more members will be invited. Though, I doubt we will extend down to “normal” members.
