Hey everyone, from all of us here in Australia, we wish you a fantastic holiday season and a brilliant start to 2026!

We have some important updates and news about our CS2 Zombie servers.

Our CS2 Zombie servers (Escape and Riot) are back online following persistent crashes caused by game updates. Currently, they are running in a minimally functional state to ensure stability.

• Zombie Escape: Server bots have been disabled to prevent crashes. This means playing alone in the server turns you into mother zombie 100%. Fixed by removing conflicting damage hook between CS2F and CS#. However zombie doesn't infect human players when knifing. They have to knife the humans until they die and respawn as zombie players.
  
• Zombie Riot: The CS2Fixes plugin is disabled due to critical conflicts with the CounterStrikeSharp framework, which caused server crashes if shooting a zombie. Fixed by removing conflicting damage hook between CS2F and CS#.

Like many of you, our team is busy with work, study, and life! This has made it hard to constantly update configs and plugins. Even as the server owner, I've struggled to keep pace.
We operate transparently, and all our server configuration files are available publicly for educational use or contribution.

• Server Upgrade: In October 2025, we successfully upgraded our host machine to a Ryzen 9 9950X CPU (from an i7-7700k), providing significant performance headroom.
  
• Future Framework Transition: We are preparing to migrate our servers from the CounterStrikeSharp (CS#) framework to SwiftlyS2. This move aims to resolve plugin compatibility issues and move away from "single point of failure" plugin structure.

We've temporarily paused publishing new config files (e.g., EntWatch, translations) for three reasons:
1. The new SwiftlyS2 framework may require different formats.
2. A shortage of active contributors.
3. Ongoing issues with certain communities that fail to acknowledge config sources, or engage in unethical practices such as advertisement spam and server redirect abuses. A separate, more detailed announcement regarding this matter will be made after the holidays.
