More EU servers?
I know hosting servers isn't free, but are there any plans to expand the EU server side of things? It's 2pm here and all EU servers are full and when playing on NA servers instead you see everyone has 150+ ping.

I am better off since I am from Central EU and to East coast servers the ping is bearable for me, but 200-250+ is just a lot to ask for. On Midwest/West servers I also have 250+ ping.

There are no plans to expand the EU region. We simply don't have the funds, especially since we need the money to keep the campaign going until April.

I'm a broke MF too, but I promise I'll shill you to all of my friends. If possible I might donate a couple of bucks next month.

I would like to donate a key (mvm ticket/other items) towards server cost. HOW do I do that?

We are unable to accept items as donations to our servers. We're only able to accept items for Madness vs. Machines because scrap.tf is willing to convert items to money for charities. Either donate cash or just give it to the charity; they need the money more than we do.

Btw it might be a bit off topic, but what's the best way to improve performance in MvM? We all know TF2's spaghetti code is horrible compared to most Source games, but I get as low as 45-50 fps at times. Even without particle effects and projectiles flying everywhere it seems that for every enemy alive I lose a few frames. Is the only way to get stable 60+ to turn it into minecraft or are there any special MvM configs/mods that turn robots into stick figures? I don't fancy going out and buying an 8700k just so I can play TF2 at high settings and 60+fps at all times when I can play any other game no issue and single core performance doesn't cripple those other games.

I usually get as low as 30-40 fps, although my fps ranges between 30-60 depending on area, sometimes even higher. I'm happy with my frames but someone on discord recommended me mastercomfig. Obviously I haven't tested it out myself so idk what it does apart from improving your fps but you can try it out: https://mastercomfig.com/

I tried out mastercomfig a while ago and I am not too fond of it. It broke my sound and fixing it took several tries until snd_mixahead or whatever it was worked and the crackling went away. I also don't really wanna downgrade visuals too much, just maybe even get a mod instead of a config. Basically something that turns all the robots from proper models into stick figures, because quite honestly I don't look at them anyway. It's not all maps, just some that really strain my game and drop FPS like crazy. As long as it stays above 80 it feels fine, but dropping into the 40s is really awful. Don't really wanna go out and get an 8700k just so I can play MvM. The "older hardware runs TF2 better" phrase is also just mumbo jumbo, it's all about single core performance and older processors from '08 probably wouldn't even be able to run TF2 anymore without turning everything into Minecraft.
