RULES

1: Be Respectful.

Do not partake in obvious harassment. Leave any bigotry at the door, there's no room for it in the server (This applies to ALL Bigotry, remember that we are all human and the only ones who truly deserve our hatred are the enemies of mankind such as hostile xeno scum and the ruinous powers.)

2: Be Reasonable.

Do not abuse any staff privileges, remember that they are Privileges which will be revoked if it has been determined you've abused any power you have. Do not uselessly pester staff, but feel free to ask questions. Do not dismiss out of hand immediately reasonable criticism, be it either criticism of staff or criticism of a player. Try to see things from their point of view if possible. It is okay to have disagreements and it must also be okay to voice your opinions. Do not engage in senseless slander

3: Be Rational.

Misunderstandings happen, if there's a misunderstanding, try to find mutual understanding, if a conversation turns into a heated argument, it may be wise to consider what you are arguing about. A civil argument can be a useful tool to communicate ideas and opinions, but if you're going to argue a point or two, be sure to keep it civil, refrain from obvious ad hominem attacks, baseless slander, etc. If you wish to prove a point, make sure you consider the point yourself and the logical merits behind both the point itself and the argument of it. Be sure to have a basis for rational argument, as the saying goes "Put up or shut up.". If your argument is weak, do not take this personally, if you haven't been subject to a personal attack, then it's not a personal attack. If you heavily base your self esteem around a weak argument, it may be wise to do a bit of self examination.
