Leveling is exponentially faster now with the Big Bang patch in place. Remember how it took two months to get to level 30? Now you can get level 30 in 8 hours, lazily, and enjoy your flashy second job skills.

The Warrior, Mage, and Archer class have gone through some serious changes (though I'm not sure what, feel free to look that up on your own)

Some other recent updates are the Professions, such as Smithing (creating your own armor), Alchemy, etc.

Monster Familiars that fight for you and give you special benefits have replaced the Monster Card drop system, and the Monster Book is now useful.

Tons of new areas to explore and level.

And finally: PVP.

And it's not half bad, either.

There's obviously much much more than that, but those are the most significant things.
