I personally donated ~3keys to become premium before outpost changes it's policy and decides to charge monthly, and I got to say, although I do understand in order to maintain the servers for outpost, charges are necessary, the monthly charges to become premium doesn't seem too attractive as the only perk to it is the autobump ability. I myself don't see the themes and other fancy decorations to be much of use as I want to keep it simple.

Furthermore, even if I do want to "donate" to maintain my monthly premium, the method is limited to real life money only, which I find it extremely inconvenient as I fail to see how in-game currency should not be accepted as a method of payment.

Lastly, since the "update" that changes the search for user, it became very inconvenient to use. When I try searching someone's display name, it doesn't return a single search which is ridiculous. I just don't see myself paying 5 dollars every month to maintain what is to me a meaningless premium.

I believe only 20-40% of the currently donators who got the year *free* will return to paying 5 dollars each month. I won't, since i believe that is a lot more than before and they aren't accepting items this time around. I hope they will re-think about it when the times comes since the year is about to end for everyone who donated prior to 10/10/13.

Agreed, just solely base on the "no item accepted" is enough to chase away many of the previous donors, and quite frankly, the premium perks simply doesn't seem to be able to offset the fees charged for every single month.

As long as I keep trading I see myself paying for premium. I can make 5 dollers just by selling 3 keys each month. To me that is worth it for the autobumb tool. Nothing was more annoying to me than having to stop playing the game I was playing every 30 minutes to bump my trades.

Good point, I may change my mind and start donating, but for now, I think till 10/10 I have had it. Either they need to change how they are accepting donations or how much they will take as donations.

Trust me, I'm very "chill".
I just pointed out that it's almost impossible to do any serious trading with only 10 trading slots.
Premium costs less than 3 keys/month. It's up to you to compare the pros and cons.

Several people have already lost their free premium status (previously lowest donor rank) and they are now paying for premium because they know it's still worth it.

It is very beneficial to donate and have premium for Outpost I noticed that when I got premium my sales went up a lot my husband has had premium for awhile and we will continue to donate to this site. They continue to update the site with new functions. Also a lot of people do not understand the up keep of servers, database, web page etc.....it all adds up if you do not donate they would not be able to support all the users. Knowledge known from running a community and several different servers.
