So there is now room for 14 items, but we can still only place 8?
Looks stupid as hell with 7 on top and 1 on the bottom, why can't we simply get 14 slots? Would be amazing.

Only way to get 8 slots in the usual fashion for me is to extend the site to 150%

Same here, except it's 125% for me @ 1680*1050.

Derp. It's called responsive design.
Try making your browser window smaller/larger.

I have to agree though. Current layout looks terrible on large screens. Having max width would help imo.
