Is this really against the rules. [Also can I reopen Mod Closed Trades]
http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/27081180#latest [There are more]

Apparently I was 'Mass Relisting', which in my eyes I wasn't, I wanted to buy loads of different cards for loads of different games.
I got threatened a ban for this as well, the reason I am making this so late is so that I can start making profit again.

Now regarding the the closed trades, I would wish to reopen trades that have been closed by mods due to me not having enough pure to buy stuff, but now I do have enough, is it possible that these trades could get reopened as it took a very long time to make these trades.

No relists. Relisting is creating multiple trades for the same purpose or listing the same item in multiple trades excessively. You cannot have multiple trades open with the same goal, and you cannot have an excessive number of trades open for the same item.

What you did is considered relisting.

Only trades you personally closed or have been closed for not being bumped in over a week (inactivity) may be reopened manually. Trades closed by staff members are only able to be reopened by staff members. However, a staff member will not reopen trades which were rightfully closed.

How though?

'Relisting is creating multiple trades for the same purpose or listing the same item in multiple trades excessively.'

I understand the rule, but I want to buy different cards, not the same ones, hence why I put cards for separate games up, not the same ones.

Your trade descriptions were all the same, even if on the right there were different items, you were not specifying that you're looking to buy only the specific cards on the right and it really didn't look like it.

So, say if I change

'Buying Cards For Pure

Price List
1 Card = 0.22
1 Foil Card = 0.33
1 Booster Pack = 0.33
70 Trading Cards = 1 Key'

to

'Buying All Dota 2 (Or whatever game it is) Cards For Pure

Price List
1 Card = 0.22
1 Foil Card = 0.33
1 Booster Pack = 0.33
70 Trading Cards = 1 Key'

It would be all right?

I guess that yes, but I cannot give a definite answer as I am not a staff member. My advise would be to create a bigger trade for all the cards that you are buying, so it will be a lot easier for people that are looking to generally trade cards for metal. There's only 8 slots, so you'd better use the items on the right as placeholders.

I would do that but it is alot less advertisment.

1 trade = 8 cards
or
10 trades = 10 games = 80 cards

I reckon if they could add more slots I could do that, but they havn't.

It really doesn't work like that, people are not like : "let me go to tf2outpost.com and scroll down until I find what I am looking for" , there's a search function for filtering trades.

Yes I know, but If they have a card from a game that I want to buy cards for, and I chose the wrong card, they won't see my trade.

Example: I put in a TF2 Heavy Card and someone wants to sell a TF2 Soldier Card, I wont be able to buy it UNLESS they have the specific card I put in.

Well, it is not possible to have an icon on the right for every card that you are looking to buy, this is why people use placeholders.

When you say 'placeholders' what do you mean, can you show me an example please.

For example, people just put random cards from random games on the right or suggestive emoticons such as :tradingcard: and :tradingcardfoil: .

Ok, but that is a lot less successful, on some of the first trades I made, they had many views within a few months, whereas people with the :tradingcard: and :tradingcardfoil: have trades open for a year and only have around 1500 views.

If you would buy the cards for a proper price you would be for sure very succesful, but if you just join the lowballing train like everyone else you need to share the traffic with them.

And making tons of these trades yourself only makes the whole situation even more annoying for everyone else, hence the relist rule to cut down the number of these trades.
