Whats the deal with item pay people always demanding to see the item in trade?
I swear this happens almost 100% of the time I hear this line "show me X", and they will repeat it over and over in the trade window... so I just check their backpack, and they never have pure. Its just weird how consistently true this is.

Probably should be a sign up tip on tf2outpost, if you are going to make an item offer, just say that up front:P Its not that hard right?

Happens quite a lot - I just play along:) Most items I get more than I bargain for. Maybe it's just me - but I enjoy it, and the traders are pretty friendly - I like item offers, but a lot of traders don't - so people who make item offers might be a bit nervous to ask directly :)

On my posts I usually say send me your Item Offer / Metal Offers below (comments) - or feel to send me a Trade Offer - Not sure if traders read that though :)

One thing I prefer would be if they said Could, Mind, etc when they say "Show Me .......", or at least show show some consideration. Show me.... is more demanding rather than asking - or it is an indication that English may not be your strongest language.

It's the small things that show the difference between a good trader and a great trader :)

Yea its the weird demanding tone that annoys me. Its like they think they can con me better if I just put the item down.
I don't mind an honest offer, but its just weird when they get so sneaky about it.
