You aren't the only one having these redirects, and he wasn't claiming that you are blaming the staff. The post linked shows you how to help the staff out by reporting these ads.
I know this isn't any fault of the staff, but seeing how ZAM now owns OP, and seeing how they are a pretty big company, shouldn't they fix this? I mean, I know if it were my company and OP was a branch of my company I wouldn't want to lose customers all because of some stupid ad(s) sending malicious software to its viewers.
OP makes enough money from their subs and ads. FFS you guys can figure this out. Stop being lazy and money hungry and get some people on this!
"First of all, a clarification must be made: the staff does not have any direct control over the advertisements that are displayed on the site. We also do not see any advertisements ourselves due to the administrative ranks we have. All the advertisements are managed by a separate and dedicated Ad Team, to which we send a report every time a bad advertisement is caught - to have it removed from rotation."
If you want these ads taken out of rotation you need to help them out by giving them the information they request from users experiencing these redirects.
