I have an idea for the future of Outpost!
Currently, there are many people who are looking for items at a certain price, and others who are trying to sell items at a certain price.

One of the easily fixable problems is that the prices are only actually set in text form.

Instead, outpost could be upgraded so sellers could pick their sell price, and buyers could pick their buy price.

Once 2 players both are looking for what the other wants, outpost could automatically, then, detect that, and tell both parties that they should trade right away. It would send out many messages, obviously, so getting what you needed, at the proper price, would theoretically occur much faster.

Basically, it would save a lot of people 'searching' time. If I'm looking for an item right now, I basically have to add a bunch of people and post on their trades, and hope it works out. The process takes a very long time, especially for items that are low in number of trades involving them.

Thoughts? Comments? Anyone agree this would be cool?

After reading what you said, it is a fairly nice idea but it looks complicated to actually "upgrade" to it.

But I really wouldn't know.....

So... you mean... steam offers...? Really, that's exactly what this is, sorry to say.

This sounds like a combination of trade.tf and steam trade offers. Its also a lot like bazaar's "buy now" function. Honestly seems kind of pointless because if a buyer isn't going to take the time to search for the cheapest seller, and simply buy from the first reasonable price he sees, then so be it. That's how people still manage to make profit in this marketplace.

tl;dr - stahp being lazy

if no one ever heard of it dispenser.tf does what you are saying
