What's happening to the price of Salvaged Crate #40s?
I see that it's falling, but is the only reason because Crate #50 came out? They don't have the same items though, so why would the price be dropping so rapidly? Actually, I'd expect the price of 40's to go up since they stopped dropping... Am I missing something? Can somebody help me out?

The real question is, why did it even become so expensive and got hyped once it stopped dropping. That did not make sense.

They'll only go up from now on, slowly but steadily.

When everyone's speculating, the opposite will happen.
For example, everyone hoards the #40, waiting until it's a peak price to sell.
In actuality, no one wants a crate 40 because everyone has one.
And then the price drops until people get bored of it.
Then slowly the price will rise, very slowly.
