It's not lowballs that I do not like, it is people who have blatant disregard about what the trade states. They see the item they want and ignore what the seller is saying completely. Also, on your comment about my trade descriptions, it's much easier to read what I have than a paragraph of notes where you have to browse the whole paragraph to see what the seller wants. I have my price separated by lines in the middle so it stands out. I think if it was just a paragraph people would be less inclined to read it.

To my experience, you have the most success with listing the relevant information in order of importance so that it can be seen at first glance.

That means no unnecessary introductions for one.

List the price(s) in a compact (no scrolling) and easy to see way, maybe enhanced with some subtle colors. Add another line for those who can read, if you are also accepting offers or only want them to add you when agreeing.

I really don't see any need to have more than 1-3 compact lines of notes when selling a single item.

I too don't bother reading everything to get the relevant information. But I simply ignore trades (that are worse than yours) and move to the next seller when searching for simple items that have a book to read in their notes.
Not saying your notes fall into that category, but wouldn't 2 simple lines suffice to sell a single hat?

And no matter how hard you try, there will always be the ones that ignore your wishes. Simply hide their post. And if they add you without reading your notes, I made my best deals of those :)
