Why was I temp-banned for repeating a trade.
So I was looking to buy all lower tier botkillers, but since there is a limit of 8 slots per trade, I put up one trade for each of the botkiller sets (rust, silver and carbonado). However, on each trade I put in the text that I am selling the other botkillers and had the full list. I appealed but to no avail, although it was only a 12 hour ban.

Is this actually against the rules? If so, then why am I not allowed to make is possible for my trade to be visibile to anyone looking to sell their botkillers? Or should I just repost the trade but only write the prices of each botkiller on the pictures on the list as well? If not, then perhaos they should expand to more than 8 slots on each side per trade.

Anyways, any help in this matter will be greatly appreciated...

Th forum isn't really the place to ask why your trade was closed and it was only a 12 hour ban. It sounds like a relisting ban, and a note should have been added on the closed trade. Could you link all the closed trades on question?

When you need to look at trades, it's often quicker to click the drop down by their name, go to profile, paste URL into SR, and then simply click Tf2outpost under the trading links. (It's the second one down.)

By the looks of it, I'd say the mod was wrong, the rust and carbonado sets are two completely different items, coming from two completely different Tours of Duty, with completely different prices and values.

I'd say it was just an honest mistake on the mod's part.

I suppose I could do that, but i think it would be easier to have all the links posted for easy viewing on the OP. I know how to find out his TF2OP user page from SR, though I usually find it faster if i just use TF2OP's search.

Concerning the closed trade, I agree with Champ that it seems to be a mistake by the mod.

I generally use Op's search as well, but when people have deliberatly short usernames, there's hundreds of results.

True true. Always a good practice to know all methods of proper identification. : )

I think what gave you problems was in the notes selling the same stuff in several diferent posts.

Right but I dont see why thats such a problem if I was buying so many different items... I dont reli get this, they were terrible at communicating. Im not very happy with the way I was treated but I'm not sure what I can do... I still don't know if what I was doing was ok...
